This is my first fountain pen and I bought it with a converter so I can use my
choice of inks. I have been very happy with this pen. Ink flow is very good
while writing and still doesn't blob up when you pause in your writing for a sec
without lifting the nib. Great pen for the price and no negatives so far.

I've had numerous fountain pens over the years. This is my favorite. Looks smart
and classy. Writes very smooth. Very happy with my purchase.

UPDATE: I still really like the look and the feel of this pen, but after less
then 1 month of use the finish on the body is discoloring. I am not sure if I
have exposed it to anything that would cause this or not. Just thought that I
would put it out there.
Lovely pen for the price....,

Lovely pen for the price. They cannot help but put their stamp of elegaantand
retro-timeless design, practicality and beauty in even these lower priced
options. Loved the nib after, I adjusted to it. However, it seemed to flow like
a narrow bold rather than a medium (heavy flow or not). Usually the bolder the
better for me, but in this instance, I hope they will extend the line to a fine
or medium fine nib option. Even thought I prefer bold nibs, all around me have
insisted that I start using a finer nib, because, let's face it, the narrower
the nib, the less room for error and the slower at least I write, which makes my
chicken scratching almost legible.
Cheers

This is my first fountain pen and it has been working great. quite broad; about
a 0.7mm feel to it; but the ink is nice and thick and comes smoothly. Feels
great in the hand.
The only thing about this pen is that it comes with an empty cartridge inside;
this cartridge is largely useless and just there as an extra placeholder. The
pen is able to hold two cartridges, but they must be put into the pen facing the
right direction or the wrong end could cause the cartridge to get stuck and not
allow the second cartridge to fit properly. Gave me a bit of trouble when the
empty cartridge got stuck in the barrel.

Bought this pen from Jetpens months ago and been working out great. Good feel!
Great Writing Sensation. However i wonder if A.G. Spalding & Bros BRFT220 FP
have any nib replacement? Accidentally hit the nib by the side of the table and
have its head split.

Great Pen. Looks great and feel good in you hand. It's a bit temperamental
(might feel a bit scratchy) about the angle you hold it, but once you get used
to it it writes great. The medium sized nib is a bit too broad for my taste but
it's fine for everyday writing. A bit top heavy when posted, but that may be
because I got used to writing without the cap. Works great with the suggested
converter. Definitely recommend it.

This is my first fountain pen, and it writes extremely smoothly and
effortlessly. The maple wood body feels great to hold and it doesn't slip.

I like this pen a lot. Attractive, comfortable, solid, good flow and clear
lines. The only weird thing I have noticed, and it may just be me, is that
pretty regularly the nib gets unscrewed or loose from the body and I have to
tighten it. I may just use it to much or hold it strange. Either way, that is a
weird compulsive thing. It is a very nice looking pen and a good value, for
sure. Solid metal and wood fountain pen.

super pen. I am impressed how much it helps to put down thoughts in words. It
writes fluently with a kind of self-will that makes it not only a tool but a
companion who demands alertness.

This pen is a fantastic value. I have lots of fountain pens in the
under-a-hundred range and I think this one is in the top three; I always carry
it with me. The cap fits on in a very satisfying way and posts similarly.
Besides being really attractive it writes like a dream. Some people might not
like gripping the metal when you write but I found I got used to it.
