I was a little skeptical when ordering this pen, not positive I loved the way it looks. Upon receiving it I was amzaed. It is really beautiful. By far the best $100 pen I own. It writes great, well balanced, and feel like no other pen I own. Great buy.

Awesome little writing instrument! I received mine yesterday after picking it up at the post office. This morning at the office, I put it together with some ink, and it worked great right out of the box. It's a little smaller and lighter than I expected - I usually write with a posted TWSBI 530/540 - and this zooms along the page. It comes with a converter and an ink cartridge, depending on which you like to use. This is a solid pen, and I'm looking forward to writing more with it.

I was concerned about the writing quality of a $100.00 fountain pen but was very pleasantly surprised. The flexibility and smoothness of this pen has actually made it one of my top daily use fountain pens. It also is a nice looking and comfortable pen to write with too. I was getting ready to purchase this pen in the navy color and was unpleasantly surprised to find that Jet Pens has discontinued this pen. I love Jet Pens but was disappointed that they discontinued the navy. Hopefully they won't discontinue the black and orange too. Great fountain pen for the money!

I didn't quite know what to expect when I ordered this pen. I have a sterling silver Ipsilon that I ruined trying to smooth the nib a couple of years ago. In retrospect, there was nothing wrong with that nib. I'd been hankering for a new Aurora ever since.

I'm not one to spend $100 lightly, but when I saw these were going out of stock, I was seized by a sense of urgency. I wondered if I had made the right decision, until the pen arrived.

The fit and finish of this pen beg to be admired. If you appreciate understated elegance, then this is a pen I recommend without reservation. I'm not one for glitz and glamour; this pen, while clearly not your average biro, doesn't hit you over the head visually like some luxury pens.

One word of caution: this pen writes a true fine line and is remarkable for its precision, but don't expect a buttery smooth ride. If you like a little feedback, a sharp, clean line and are looking to move beyond the $20-$30 range, then I say with confidence that you should give the Ipsilon a try. Truly a great pen!
