I use this for inking my drawings instead of calligraphy. It's my favourite nib!
It's got a lot of flex, so line variation is super easy to achieve.
Also, not sure if this is relevant, but I'm a lefty and this nib works
wonderfully for me :) (I've noticed some nibs behave oddly in my hand)

If ya gotta dip,.....dip with this! The Blue Pumpkin has a lot of flex,...so a
variable width line is a breeze. It does like the ink though,...so "adippin" you
will do!

I very much prefer this...,

I very much prefer this nib to the more popular G nib (which i find better for
drawing than writing but that's for another review). I use this nib for my daily
journal entries and it is such a joy to write with! This may be a calligraphy
nib but is by no means hard to use for a beginner. There is excellent control
and line variation. I write a with a cursive hand that is on the smaller side.
If any of you are wondering of the differences between this nib and its smaller
cousin the "Arrow", the Blue Pumpkin is considerably larger and holds much more
ink. I can comfortably write a few lines with the Pumpkin. The Arrow lasts me a
sentence or two and is slightly more temperamental to use imo - a matter of
personal preference really.

When i first got this...,

When i first got this pen nib i was dissapointed of the point width, but when i
tested it, my opinion changed completely, it is really good, allows to change
line width or do stable lines, holds a good amount of ink and also has a cool
looks, it is my second favourite pen nib, next to the G pen.
