Nice slim case. I keep 5 gel pens, 2 mechanical pencils, dual color beetle tip
highlighter, and a 3-pen Uni Style Fit easily in the loops. The front pocket
zipper contains my extra lead and a packet of sticker page tabs. It has access
to the full front side if you're wanting to put long items in the front zipper.
I can easily throw one of my smaller erasers in the mesh pockets below all my
pen/cils. With that inside, zipped up, it's no more than ~2.5mm thick without
smushing things down. If I wanted too I could easily add more items in the front
pocket and at least 2-3 more pens to it and zip it up no problem. I love how it
lays flat so when I start studying everything's easy to access.
I personally like pops of color and contrast, so the bright green with the grey
inside is attractive for me. The green is in my best description is a spring
green leaning towards yellow but still clearly a green if you put it side by
side with a true yellow. The case feels like it's very lightly padded. It's
probably due to the combination of the thicker outside (green) fabric and the
inside (grey) fabric.
There's a small loop on the outside back of the case, so if you're looking to
add a carabiner or keychain that's easy to add on. The hole is about ~1mm in
diameter laid flat and ~0.5mm if it's rounded out into a circle. I keep this in
my Timbuck2 messenger bag and occasionally I pack it full and I hate it when I
have a weirdly shape bag so this case works well in slipping into nooks and
crannies in my bag. If you're looking for a simple flat case then I'd recommend
picking one of these up.
