With this premium-quality Deleter comic paper, you will marvel at how well your pen glides over the surface without catching. The paper is very smooth, and ink does not feather. This is Deleter's B-type paper which is blank and therefore well-suited for tracing work and many other uses. Due to its thickness, the paper can be used for tone work. This A4 size is ideal for producing size B5, A5, and B6 fan magazines.
I love how smooth this paper is and how my pencils and nibs glide right across.
Works great with copic markers (and probably all other types) but like all
papers make sure to keep something underneath to catch the bleed (all papers
do). Tones work well on it also.
Note: This has next to no tooth. I enjoy it as it is.
Great paper. It's perfect for heavy pen use thanks to it's smooth surface. I've
tested this paper with different types of inks (Pilot Ink, Winsor & Newton ink
and Kaimei Lettering Pen ink) and I can conclude that the less dense the ink,
the best it will work with this paper. Pilot Ink for example is a little more
dense/heavy than Kaimei Lettering Pen ink and I found it a little bit more
difficult to work with it simply because the ink doesn't flow due to how smooth
the paper surface is. I think also because I need to practice my inking skills
so I can trace lines without hesitation :P. However, using a little less dense
ink such as Kaimei Lettering Pen ink works flawlessly with this paper on my
experience. You can also create colored illustrations with this paper using
watercolors, colored inks and Copic markers, but only if you work very
meticulously and through thin layers of paint because this paper is not thick
enough to hold plenty of paint on the same area otherwise it will start to
crumple so I guess it's something to keep in mind. Overall I think it's a great
paper and I totally recommend it.
