I have several nib holders...

I have several nib holders (Speedball, Tachikawa,Nikko, and this Deleter
holder), and this one is easily one of my favorites. It's smaller than the
Tachikawa in both length and girth, which I find to allow sightly better
control. It is about the same profile and dimensions as the Nikko large holder,
but about 2mm shorter. However, this one can accommodate both large nibs (G,
School, Spoon), as well as round nibs (maru). My only complaint is that the
yellow coating is a little slick compared to the flat black lacquer Nikko uses
on their Ni Holders. However, I have not honestly noticed it effect my ability
to retain proper grip on the pen. And if it ever does, a little masking tape
with give it enough texture to hold on it.
Over all, I give it 5 stars for a good price, well made, holds nibs firmly, and
is my ideal size for a pen holder. It may be simple, and lack caps or rubber
grips, but it just works well.
NOTE: In case anyone wonders, it will NOT hold hunt crowquills (ie. Hunt 102) as
the Maru pen and crowquill have slightly different dimensions.
