Man, I do love me some o' this ink.

It is most expensive out of the Deleter inks, but boy howdy, it's worth it. Totally. It's waterproof like a boss, and dude, lemme tell ya, it is DARK. Dark to the max. I love how dark and matte this ink is because it looks AMAZING when you scan it. Seriously, this ink completes me. It changed my life, bro.

When it comes to ink,...

When it comes to ink, I am aware that each type of ink comes with its pros and cons. However, this ink is probably the first one I've tried that is very well-rounded and has little to no weaknesses.

1. It is waterproof.
2. You can use alcohol-based markers over this ink.
3. It dries pretty fast. I have tried other inks before and they still remained wet on the nib. However, this ink dries fast like acrylic paint and likewise, it can be easily cleaned off of the nib with soap and water.
4. The ink does not fade when erased over.
5. The ink is nice and opaque. It has a strong black pigment.
6. It gives a matte finish, which is satisfying for me since I do not prefer glossy finishes.

I have not run across any problems with this ink yet. It is very high quality and well worth the price. I hope it will be back in stock again! I am definitely sticking to this ink!

As the website says, this ink is indeed waterproof. It also works well with Copic markers. The finish of the ink isn't glossy as well. When I use this ink, it has a very nice consistency which I personally like. Over all, I really like this ink for my work and I would recommend it for people who like to do both water colors and marker illustrations.

Beautifully dark ink, actually waterproof. If you will be using it a lot, I recommend getting more than one! It's actually worth it.

Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with Deleter inks... This black is BLACK - nice, deep, dark cover. no question about that. It is the only stuff I use anymore. Goes down smooth with dip pen, brush and as a wash(where it still makes a stunning impact even when watered down!).

I adore this ink. Previously I used the Black 6, but this also is fast drying, not to mention its waterproof and dark as night. As a watercolor artist, I'm always excited that I can line everything first and not worry about the ink bleeding into my colors.
I have had it get thicker on me before making it to the end of a bottle. Part of that is on me and how slow my process is (leaving the cap off); but all I did was add a touch of water and its back to being awesome. There are many ways around this; like you could pour some of it out first and not dip directly into the pot. Personally, I don't have a problem with thinning it back out though.
Materials used with it were Tachikawa and Deleter nibs; as well as dipping Pentel aquash brushes.

I adored this ink up until it dried up on me. It's incredibly black, dries fast and won't smudge no matter what I throw at it. It's still salvageable (as in, the entire thing hasn't turned into a rock), but I feel like the packaging has really cost me a lot of the product. I find this is a pretty common thing when it comes to this brand of ink. The company should consider a more airtight bottle.
