I find Bilberry Blue...
Verified Purchase
I find Bilberry Blue to be a very attractive dark blue ink. It satisfies my desire for an ink which is truly blue, although very dark, with no overt evidence of black or teal. The color delights me. Worth the buy if you feel strongly about dark blue ink. For example, if you think Sheaffer blue is a very nice color, but not quite dark enough for all purposes, this might be what you're looking for.

This ink has so much...

This ink has so much sheen, I've started to call it Charlie. *ba-dum-bam!* A nice blue-violet with all that shimmering goodness. Whatever dye component makes the ink sheen, also seems to allow for smearing, even after a couple days of being on the paper. But I like the color and sparkle so much, that I generally am not bothered by the smudges. I probably wouldn't use it for anything in which smearing is going to be a problem. Like at work or for business correspondence. Though it does seem to be smudge-proof after a week or more.
