I bought Diamine Sapphire...
I bought Diamine Sapphire Blue for first time for my Lamy FP. and I am still not able to get over the Saturation/intensity of the pigment in this ink!
I use it for drafting and sketching, as well as handwriting. It looks purple when wet, but it dries more on the blue-purple side.
The color is intense, but still light enough to achieve a transparency effect if only one layer is applied. However, it can get deep dark with just a second pass; that is if the intention is Sketching. As with calligraphy, I find this transparency beautiful, since there are areas(letters) that receive a double trace, and the resulting contrast of intensity makes the text pop out!
Most definitely recommend it for both, sketching and calligraphy.
Also, I'd like to add that, as a professional artist and art educator, I recommend JetPens without any reservations. Jet pens is my main art supplies vendor, I trust them 100% with any of my orders, because they're serious and professional about fulfilling their customer's satisfactions. They're diligent when communicating with me, and actually do deliver everything on time. Five stars to them too!
