I've seen reviews of...
I've seen reviews of this color that complained about it being too light. I'm not sure what is expected of an ink called "Sepia," but it is true that it is not a dark brown by any means. And that is its appeal for me. It is dark enough to be very readable, but light enough to offer some shading in the stroke reflecting the speed or direction of the nib. With an italic nib, it is a delight.
If you are looking for a color that has a vintage look to go along with the vintage look of fountain pen writing, this is a great choice.
My only complaint was that it went a bit dry (without quitting writing) in the pen in the middle of a note-taking session, but I think it was a problem of my own making in how I'd filled the pen.
