In this limited-edition "Drink Local" series, Field Notes celebrates the warmth and camaraderie of everyone's favorite local brewery. Each memo book represents a different beer, with covers that match the colors of three different brews. The heavyweight New Page Sterling Premium 120# covers feature a "soft touch" varnish that gives them a velvety-smooth, soft rubber feel. The iconic logo is varnished on the front with contrasting gloss, and a brief history of each drink is printed on the back. Inside, you'll find Finch Opaque Smooth 50# paper printed with a "Hefeweizen" yellow-orange grid. The grid is slightly smaller than 5 mm x 5 mm. Each memo book is bound with three gold staples.
Like other Field Notes books, these are durable and flexible, designed to survive any pant or shirt pockets. They are bound with a rugged three-staple saddle-stitch process. Inside the front cover, you can write in your contact information and, with a sense of humor, indicate whether or not the person who returns your lost book will be rewarded. The inside cover lists "practical" applications for the memo books such as #08, "Who Drank What Where". The Field Notes story and further specifications are also presented. The books are manufactured and printed in the USA.
As a bonus, this pack includes a letterpress-printed coaster, the perfect companion to a nice cool glass of your favorite brew.
This "Ales" pack includes 3 memo books, each containing 48 pages (24 sheets), and the coaster. The memo books are: Stout (dark brown-black), Amber Ale (warm red), and India Pale Ale (rusty orange).
Memo book dimensions: 3.5 x 5.5 inches (8.9 x 13.9 cm).
