I'm not going to lie, I didn't think this bag would hold that many items when I looked at it here. I decided to order it anyways, impulsively. I must say that I am extremely impressed with this cute little bag. There are so many things about it that I absolutely love.

+ strong, durable material that looks and feels like it will last a long time
+ the color makes it suitable for both males and females to carry around
+ it looks small, but it unfolds into a roomy bag that's compact when closed
+ closes securely, so there should be no worries of things falling out
+ the tip cards are comical and helpful at the same time
+ it holds a lot of things, so it's great for everyday carry
+ the deep pockets allow ample space for the bulkier items (tape, staplers, etc.)

- I really personally don't care much for velcro, so I would have used more magnetic snaps

Overall, it holds a lot, including the larger and bulkier items that you may need, and still remains compact enough to fit easily in a backpack, bag, or purse. I wish it came in more colors, but for now it's still pretty awesome!

I need to get another one of these. Love it. I hold mix of about 15 mechanical pencils, fountain pens and illustration markers. Then have altoid tins full of erasers and leads int he pocket.

Only bad thing was cause by me. The magnets that hold it close got demagnetized when one of my kids magnets got caught inside and onto the magnet clip.

Overall, I'm quite disappointed. This product is very nicely marketed on the Inkwell website, but that's unfortunately its most polished aspect.

The fabric itself is adequate, but no more. I'm not optimistic that it will wear particularly well when carried about and frequently used. The magnetic clasps that I thought were a really cool idea particularly fail to measure up. The magnets are not strong enough to find one another unless they're practically already touching. Inkwell may as well have just used regular snaps, since these magnetic ones fail to deliver a quick, self-sealing closure.

The product's gimmicky nature is most evident in the set of "pro-tip" cards included. They're nothing but common laser-printed index cards containing advice that is either painfully obvious or just plain wrong. Given that the target demographic seems to be designers and art supply enthusiasts, it's disappointing that they offer such pearls as: using a second sheet of paper to prevent your permanent marker from soaking through to your desk, and "pencils are for noobs." I'd actually give the product a higher rating if it DIDN'T come with smugly-written disinformation.

I decided to order this pouch on Jetpens because of the price. On the Inkwell site, the same pouch sells for USD$39, obviously inflated with a couple office supply Sharpies, low-end Copics, and some plain sticky notes. If you're curious about this piece, it's probably not even worth the price to get that out of your system. Its presentation as a professional-grade, hi-tech design adventure kit is pure gloss. There are much better art cases just on this site.
