Not as dark as I would have liked...more like a transluscent sky blue. Great for watercolor art, but not so much for my Lamy pen.

This is a beautifully flowing ink; nice and wet. The color is what I can only describe as a very pale, azure blue. I have mixed this color with Diabolo Menthe; each color on its own is almost too pale to see on paper, but together, they make a beautiful pale aqua that has just enough contrast. I love the tiny little bottles; this is a great way to sample different colors without investing in a huge bottle before you know what you are getting. Also a cost-effective way to have lots of various colors on hand. As usual, J. Herbin delivers on quality as well as variety.
