this ink looked so lovely...
March 19, 2012
this ink looked so lovely in the pictures i had to try it out. i'd been looking for a nice color to annotate my notes with. unfortunately, this wasn't it. it's a lot paler than i expected - barely darker than the lines on my notebook - and basically unusable as a result. i'd have liked it a lot more if it was slightly more saturated.

on the other hand, it is quite a pretty color, and if you're using it for drawing/painting with a brush I think it'd probably work nicely.

I love this ink! I like how light it is. I tend to use paper with really light lines, dot grid, or no lines, because I like light ink, but the problem the other reviewer mentioned might come up if you use regular lined paper. Anyway, mint is one of my favorite colors. If anything, this is about half a shade bluer than I would have wanted, but it's a perfect winter color. And the name is so cute~
