Light to medium brown ink with lots of shading, good flow, and a surprising amount of water resistance. Glad to be able to purchase in a small bottle like this because 1) the 30 mL J. Herbin bottles are impossible to fill from and 2) with how frequently I rotate through inks, even 10 mL will last quite a while.

Brilliiant, colour of Black tea. A unique colour, no bright tones in it and yet overall the colour is noticeable. Maybe because it behaves nicely. J. Herbin inks overall are good in their writing properties.

This is my new favourite colour! I'm going to order the large bottle next time. The ink flows smoothly and dries very quickly. It really does look like you're writing with tea! I love these small bottles...let's you "give ink a chance!".

I adore this ink - it's dark cold a bit greeny brown, perfectly matches to my eye color =D Perhaps, it's my favourite brown ink, it's perfect for sepia-sketches, antique style decorative calligraphy and just taking notes for calm and not distracting reading. Flows in interest way with a great light-dark tints variations (even in one word measures) at any paper, not only Tomoe River's one. At rought paper looks like Sakura sepia liner =)
