DescriptionSpecificationsFrequently Asked Questions
Pack of six international short sized J. Herbin Fountain Pen ink cartridges. Other colors available.

J. Herbin was established in 1670 and is the oldest name in formal ink production in the world. It is the ink namesake used by renowned figures such as Napoleon Bonaparte and Victor Hugo of Les Miserables.

The "Jewel of Inks" series from J. Herbin was created by M. Herbin in his shop on the Rue des Fosses Saint-Germain in Paris in 1700. Now you can capture a moment of this history with these high-quality ink cartridges at JetPens.

Ink features:

- Non toxic and pH neutral

- Lightfast

- Water based

- Flows smoothly and fast drying

- All natural dyes

If exposed to extremely cold weather for a long time, ink inside new cartridges is likely to freeze, expand, and push out the stopper, causing cartridges to leak.

Just awesome.
Extremely smooth on a A. G. & Spalding as well as on a Kaweco Al Sport.
Not a ink to use on a daily basis but perfect for side notes as well as to sign a document.
I recommend for all those who want to mark a difference

The color is a little lighter than I expected, but it's so gorgeous, a warm dark yellow. The little tin it comes in is perfect to keep things organized, I'll be picking up more colors just to be able to glance in the drawer and grab whatever color I need.

My only complaint is I prefer to write with a pretty fine tip and this is a bit light for it to be easy to read for some people. I guess I will have to keep it all for myself!

Color is pretty nice, a muted brown-tinged orange, but it is very very slow to dry. Much slower than the Eclat de Saphir color, which dries fairly quickly.
