The appearance and feel...
August 18, 2011
The appearance and feel of the aluminum cap and body are appealing, and the "F"
nib is great for taking notes. Overall, I like the compact and practical
design. There are a few cons, but they are not show stoppers: 1) the threading
where the body of the pen screws into the cap is fine and relatively deep,
giving the threads a sharp, knife edge feel that can irritate the index/middle
fingers. Ironically, this isn't a problem on the much less expensive plastic
models. 2) the cap has to be posted really firmly or it can easily work its way
off due to the ultra smooth finish on the pen body. There is no "plug and play"
when posting the cap; it requires a conscious effort, but that doesn't make me
want to give up the beautifully silky finish on the aluminum.
