I love this pen! It is a GREAT traveling pen using the cartridge (the bladder filler doesn't work for me) as you can also take it on a plane. It is basically indestructible. And it is about as cool looking as can be. I get a lot of enquiries. Posted it is a good size and the nib is smooth and the ink flow even. Thank you.

I'm an Architect and love to have pens and pencils that are responsive to my hand and are also attractive and comfortable to hold. I can truthfully say that this pen is most satisfactory in all of those categories. I love its weight and solidity the line it makes and how it sits in my hand. It fits well with the three principals of Vitruvius in De Architectura , firmness commodity and delight.

I love this pen.

This is my new favorite pen.

It writes very smoothly. It's a perfect size to carry in a pocket, and incredibly comfortable to write with. Posting the cap with just a little bit of pressure makes it seat very tightly, and the cap will not rattle or fall off. If you do that, it feels like a full size pen while writing. The weight is light, but satisfying, and I personally like the feel of a metal pen.

I have other pens that write as well, and some that look nearly as good, but this is a pen that is both distinctive and classy. When you bring this out to sign something, people will ask about it.

The only thing I could see some people disliking is the susceptibility of the raw aluminum to scratching. If you go to the Kaweco website, it will give you the following warning:

"The pen gets its own character and patina due to scratches and chafes. Attention! DON'T BUY if you don't like scratches."

As long as you know that before purchase, you will appreciate the pen that you have. You won't be able to avoid scratches, anyway.

Great little pen for everyday carry! I already had a Classic Sport with a Med nib and wanted to try out a finer line in this body style. I don't see too much difference between the two nibs, to be honest, but that could also be due to the inks I currently have in each pen (Faber-Castell Stone Grey in the Med nib, J. Herbin Orange Indien in the Fine).

The Kaweco Fine is definitely much heavier than the Fine in my Pilot Prera. I'm considering a replacement EF nib for this one just out of curiosity. The hunt for the perfect pen to pair with my Hobinichi Techo continues.

Very elegantly designed and finished pen. The polished raw aluminum marks easily, but develops a pleasant worn look quickly. The finish and polish are exceptional-very crisply machined, perfectly polished, but not in a way that obscures the crispness of the lines, but still makes it feel very smooth and silky in the hand. It's really a delight to hold and writes well. I have medium to large size hands and find it comfortable to write with, even for short periods with the cap unposted. Nib is very stiff, but nice for it's size, that's even a benefit in some sense, as I feel I can bear down enough to fill out carbon forms without worrying about the nib.

The pen is beautiful. I will enjoy this pen for a long time. The only problem I have is that when I got this pen, the nib was not perfectly aligned. In fact, it was ever-so-slightly bent. It looks as though it may have been dropped from a short distance, so I may get a replacement nib. But as other reviews state, the fine point is closer to a medium size line for Kaweco pens. This doesn't bother me, but keep this in mind.
