Kaweco's Allrounder fountain pen is a classic addition to the Kaweco selection at JetPens. The design originates from a retro 50’s style that is modernized with a matte finish in bright colors. An anodized aluminum body is CNC-machined, and has a solid feel in hand. The cap securely screws onto the pen body, and features a chrome-plated clip, decorative ring, and Kaweco coin emblem. Kaweco’s excellent quality reputation is only reaffirmed with the smooth writing of the Allrounder’s stainless steel iridium-tipped nib. This pen is available in multiple body colors and various nib sizes.

Pen dimensions: Approximately 5.3 inches (13.5 cm) long when capped, 6.3 inches (16 cm_ from tip of nib to end of cap when cap is posted on back of barrel, and no wider than 0.5 inches (14 mm) in diameter.

A Kaweco tin gift box and one blue international short ink cartridge is included. The cartridge comes inside the barrel of the pen. If the cartridge seems to be stuck inside the barrel, try gently tapping the barrel against a hard surface a few times to dislodge it.

Summary: Looks great...

Summary: Looks great and writes well, but has durability problems.

I bought the Allrounder because I enjoyed writing with the Sport but wanted something larger and heavier. The Allrounder is a beautiful pen (I received many comments on it) and it writes well, so I started using it as my go-to pen at work. However, I ran into some problems. After three months, the nib clogged, and no amount of cleaning could restore smooth ink flow. Fortunately, replacement nibs are inexpensive, so I was soon back in business. However, a mere six months into ownership the plastic threads on the inside of the cap broke. Now the cap won't stay on and it's a liability to carry the pen. I'm now looking for another brand--I like the Allrounder but the price is too high for durability problems.
