The sporty and compact look of these fountain pens transcend fashion time and are just as attractive today as they were when they were first created years ago. Each pen is made of high-quality plastic and has a subtle checker design. Pens are compact when capped (approx. 4.1 inches long), but very comfortable when posted (5.3 inches long). The pens feature a screw-on cap for extra security, a stainless steel nib, and can be refilled with standard short ink cartridges. Each pen is made in Germany and has a Kaweco metal logo on the top of the cap.

One blue short international ink cartridge is included. The cartridge comes inside the barrel of the pen. If the cartridge seems to be stuck inside the barrel, try gently tapping the barrel against a hard surface a few times to dislodge it.

Q: The ink cartridges I ordered for the Kaweco Sport fountain pen seem too long and won't fit inside. Why is that?
There is an included cartridge inside the pen, which can become lodged inside the barrel of the pen. Please try gently tapping the barrel against a table or other hard surface a few times to get the stuck cartridge out.

For such a small package...

For such a small package when capped, the pen when posted becomes very nice in my hand. I was excited enough to just plug in a cartridge and start writing and I was very pleased with the feel of the pen. It went from plugging in a cartridge to putting ink on paper without so much as a burp or skip. I write quite small so the XF nib has been a very good choice for me. I would recommend this pen for purchase to anyone who is looking for a small, easily portable pen that writes without fail and is very comfortable in hand.
