This is an excellent..., March 23, 2012
This is an excellent pen for the money. The extra fine nib wrote smoothly for
me right out of the box. A reasonably light plastic pocket/purse pen, it fits
perfectly in my small pocketed shirts and stays in place with the addition of a
clip, available separately.
For me, this has become my go-to pen when I'm out and about. It takes short
international cartridges so it's easy to pop an extra cartridge in my pocket
should I run out of ink while away from my desk. As a demonstrator (clear)
model it is easy to determine when a new cartridge may be needed.
The pen writes every time without start-up or skipping issues. As a
pocket/purse pen, it is meant to be used posted and when in that position it is
very comfortable to write with. I have done everything from jotting a quick
note to writing a full letter and my hand never cramps up because of the size or
shape of the pen.
If you are looking for a reliable fountain pen that is compact and easy to take
with you then I highly recommend the Kaweco Classic Sport.

This Kaweco Classic Sport..., March 22, 2012
This Kaweco Classic Sport demonstrator has become my go-to pen. For the price,
it is an excellent little pocket or purse pen. Because I wear shirts with
fairly shallow pockets, this pen is ideal because it fits into those pockets
perfectly. I take it everywhere and find it to be an excellent writer. I have
even done the crossword puzzle in my local newspaper with no problems. Ink flow
is good and the line produced is clear. I have no skipping issues with it and
the pen wrote right out of the box with no tweaking of the nib. Once posted,
the pen is a perfect size for writing and very comfortable in the hand. I find
it easy to write full letters with it.
If you are looking for a pen that closes up into a small package but opens to a
full size product then I highly recommend the Kaweco Classic Sport.

I love this pen. Of all my fountain pens, this one NEVER skips on any paper I've
used. It has a larger line than the Pilot Prera EF nib.

This Kaweco, with an..., March 15, 2012
This Kaweco, with an EF nib, writes very nicely, but.... I should have paid more
attention to the other reviews. I was shocked at how skimpy and "disposable" it
feels in the hand. Nice nib, and nice emblem on the cap --but the plastic is
thin and very lightweight; it is easy to imagine the barrel splitting.
I knew it would be small, but this was less pen than I expected for $26.50.
Ironically, the Pilot Petite at $3.30 was much more pen than I expected.
So...surprises in both directions.
I'll probably keep it, as it's here and I need an EF, but in this price range
you may find the Lamy has an edge in quality build. (Doesn't fit my hand
unfortunately.)
Service from Jet pens was excellent!

This is my second Kaweco..., August 27, 2011
This review is from Kaweco Classic Sport Fountain Pen - Fine Nib - Black Body
This is my second Kaweco Sport. The first, which I purchased for college in the
60's, a piston filler with a gold nib,
was made of "destructible plastic." The plastic on the new one is much better.
The fine nib writes puts down a nice line is
is relatively smooth. If you buy the pen, watch the Jetpens video on installing
the first cartridge; it contains a useful
tip. I'm very happy I found the Jetpens site.
