DescriptionSpecificationsQuestions & Answers
This stainless steel replacement nib unit is compatible with the fountain pens listed under Compatible Products. To replace the nib of any compatible pen except the Kaweco Calligraphy, Classic Sport, Ice Sport, and Skyline Sport, use your fingertips to grip the top of the old nib and the feed of your pen and unscrew the entire nib unit from the grip section. Grip the nib and feed of the replacement nib unit and screw it into the grip section until it is tight.

To replace the nib of a Kaweco Calligraphy, Classic Sport, Ice Sport, or Skyline Sport, use your fingertips to grip the top of the old nib and the feed of your pen and pull them straight out from the grip section of the pen. Then, pull the replacement nib and feed out of the plastic collar and insert them into the pen's grip section.

Do not grip the nib by its sides, as this can damage the nib.

I just want to share...

I just want to share my experience so that others don't have to worry as I did:

So I purchased a lilliput pen with the medium nib. Mistake! It was just too broad for me. I then looked to get a replacement nib but when I looked at the picture of this one I thought that the shape was different from the original that shipped with my pen. This initially bummed me out but I accepted the "fact" and ordered it. It arrived today and when I tried to replace it it wouldn't work. It turns out that part that you unscrew from the pen when you want to replace the ink is actually two parts consisting of a collar and this nib structure pictured here. Thus, to change the nib one actually has to unscrew the old nib from the collar and then replace that with the new one (pictured here). You can then insert the ink cartridge and then put that entire structure (the nib, the collar and the ink) back into the body of the pen. So no worrying that the pen will look different! Replacing the nib makes it look exactly the same as it did when it shipped.

As for how it writes. . . It is just what I was looking for!

I had ordered a Stonewashed medium point, thinking it would be comparable to some of my vintage medium points. Alas, the medium was giving me just too broad a line. I ordered the Fine replacement nib.
Order was prompt and packaged exceedingly well. The line is now just what I wanted.
Great product, great service.
Thanks, Jet Pens!
