DescriptionSpecificationsFrequently Asked Questions (1)
The sporty and compact look of these fountain pens transcend time and are just as attractive today as they were when they were first created years ago. Each pen is made of high-quality transparent and two-tone plastic, allowing ink level visibility. The pen is compact when capped (4.1 inches long), but very comfortable when posted (5.2 inches long). Thus the Kaweco slogan "Small in the pocket, great in the hand".

Made in Germany, the pen features a screw-on cap for extra security, a stainless steel nib, and a metal Kaweco logo on the cap tip.

One blue short international ink cartridge is included. The cartridge comes inside the barrel of the pen. If the cartridge seems to be stuck inside the barrel, try gently tapping the barrel against a hard surface a few times to dislodge it.

Q: The ink cartridges I ordered for the Kaweco Sport fountain pen seem too long and won't fit inside. Why is that?
There is an included cartridge inside the pen, which can become lodged inside the barrel of the pen. Please try gently tapping the barrel against a table or other hard surface a few times to get the stuck cartridge out.

This is the most wonderful fountain pen! For less than $25, this pen writes like it must have cost over $100--seriously. The ink flows consistently at just the right amount. The nib is smooth and never scratches or catches the paper; it\'s a smooth ride from start to finish. Although the pen section is short, once you put the cap on the opposite end and start writing, it turns into an overall length that is comfortable in any hand. The quality is outstanding--a very well-made pen. I certainly thought I\'d have to pay a lot more to get a pen that writes as well as this one. I wish it came with the pen clip, but I\'m not complaining considering the quality you get for the $. You\'ll be very pleased with this pen.

I really like this pen. My first fountain pen in many years. Enjoy the compactness and ability to cary in my pocket. However, the threads in the cap have stripped out and consequently the cap does not stay on and can no longer carry in my pocket defeating my main purpose for the pen.
It writes wonderfully, I enjoy the size but am dissapointed with the durability of this pen that I have been gentle with.

It is a lovely emerald green. I loaded it with Noodler's Green Marine as an eyedropper, so even the clear body is deep green. I added a nickle clip to match the silver nub and cap jewel. It writes smoothly and reliably. As an eyedropper, it writes a long time. However, when the ink fill gets below one-third, it can get drippy, so watch out.

I also have a Kaweco Sport Classic demonstrator (all clear) as an eyedropper with Platinum Pigmented Sepia. It has been great through three refills.

I love this pen.

I've had it for nearly a year now. It comes with me everywhere, either in a pants or shirt pocket. It's never leaked (aside from burping into the cap when I flew with it, and the ink all stayed in the top of the cap). The nib is as smooth as my more expensive/"better" pens. It's not super fine, but it's fine enough that I use it in my pocket notebooks without any trouble. It's not too wet, not to dry. It's not the prettiest pen I own, and it's not my favorite (that honor is reserved for my Lamy Studio), but it's the one that I trust to always be there, ready to write when I need it.

Occasionally I think about getting a second one of these. But what's the point? This fills my needs perfectly.
