I love the Kaweco rollerball pens! I love being able to use just about any fountain pen ink so I can write in any color I want. Since you can also get a converter, the sky's the limit! The line is very smooth and it is great to have a ballpoint so you can write on multipart forms and the point doesn't dry out as quickly as a fountain pen. Great product!

I love these pens. I love that I can use any kind of cartridge fountain pen ink - or using a converter, I can use bottled fountain pen ink as well. The sky's the limit for color choices! I like that I can use them on multi-part forms like a ballpoint. I have used them for years and had only 1 that after a few years of daily use, had a problem that the ball didn't roll. I have switched to a lubricating fountain pen ink and it is writing again. I think they are a very good value.

I had high hopes for this pen, but it is a huge disappointment. The roller doesn't start laying ink right away, especially at the beginning of upstrokes, so I keep having to go back and write over my words to correct the missing parts. I wouldn't buy this pen again.

I've been pleased with my Kaweco roller ball after several months of ownership. As I use mine almost every day I found after slight skipping with the first two cartridges an instrument that writes quite well with unusual exception in the value price category. It is an attention getter as well. Most people have not seen a pen like this and it catches their eye often prompting questions or requests for a closer look. I did purchase the nickel pocket clip with this pen. I enjoy writing with it very much, the range of color choices, and its roller ball point as I have a heavy hand. It's been worth every penny.

This pen scared me quite a bit when I first got it. It skipped a lot. It ran scratchy. After a long process of priming and breaking in, this pen turned out to be great! I can use any kind of short international ink cartridge I want.

I was actually a bit surprised how much I like this pen. It's one of the smaller pens I own, but sits well in the hand. The roller ball writes very smoothly and with an agreeable line thickness. One very small disappointment is that the pen does not lend well to being converted to an eye-dropper filled pen in part because of there how far down the barrel the cap reaches (won't go over an o-ring), and partly because of how deep the nib threads are within the barrel. Nonetheless I made the conversion using only silicon grease for sealing, and will test it out. Otherwise, extremely pleased with the pen.

The sport ice roller ball is a good concept, but I found the roller ball wasn't that smooth. It put down the ink just fine, but crackled and squeaked. I sent it back and got the fountain pen in the same color, which I much prefer. [see review on sport ice orange M nib fountain pen page]. The roller ball is light and compact for everyday carrying, but if the writing experience is not exceptional I cannot tolerate it. Life's too short.
