DescriptionSpecificationsQuestions & Answers
The Liliput is the smallest member of Kaweco's fountain pen lineup and among the smallest fountain pens in the world that use standard international short ink cartridges. Threading on the end of the barrel allows the cap to be screwed on securely, bringing the pen to a comfortable, full-sized length while in use. Originally introduced in 1910, the Liliput was re-released in 2011 and is available in a variety of attractive materials and finishes.

This pen is constructed from lead-free Eco Brass that will darken and change color over time as the brass oxidizes, acquiring a natural antique character.

The pen comes in a tin gift box with one blue ink cartridge. The cartridge comes inside the barrel of the pen. If the cartridge seems to be stuck inside the barrel, try gently tapping the barrel against a hard surface a few times to dislodge it.

This pen has a noticeable metallic scent that can transfer to the user's hand for a short time after use.

Note: The metal body of this pen can be corroded by prolonged contact with ink. Be sure to clean off any ink that gets onto its surface, and do not use it as an eyedropper pen.

such a fantastic pen!!!! it has the perfect weight and size (and I have big hands too!) The brass body has developed the most wonderful patina. it looks weathered but classy. No complaints about the nib either. i have it inked with De Atramentis Cherry (syringed it into a cartridge) and it writes beautifully on my clairfontaine 1951 notebook!

A fantastic pen for everyday carry. There's no danger of leakage because of the screw-on cap, and the pen is always ready to write. It's been traveling in my pocket since the day it arrived, and has never let me down. The solid brass body provides some comfortable heft, and the nib is smooth and consistent. The brass doesn't have any finish -- with use it's developing its own unique look. The pen isn't cheap, but it will last a lifetime.
