The sporty and compact look of these fountain pens transcend time and are just as attractive today as they were when they were first created years ago. Each pen is made of high-quality plastic, and is compact when capped (4.1 inches long) but very comfortable when posted (5.2 inches long). Thus the Kaweco slogan "Small in the pocket, great in the hand".

Made in Germany, the pen features a screw-on cap for extra security, a chrome-plated steel nib, and a metal Kaweco logo on the cap tip.

One blue short international ink cartridge is included. The cartridge comes inside the barrel of the pen. If the cartridge seems to be stuck inside the barrel, try gently tapping the barrel against a hard surface a few times to dislodge it.

An excellent, portable pen. It is small enough to carry in my pocket, but is also tall enough posted to make a comfortable writing instrument over long periods of time. Its very stylish as well.

One issue: the plastic scratches very, very easily. I've had this pen less than a month and the exterior already looks like its been my daily pen since 1995.

This is my first fountain pen. It was inexpensive, and as a college student I needed something that could stand up to my backpack. I have really enjoyed this little pen. Its octagonal cap makes it perfect at your desk—it doesn't roll! When you're done writing, the pen stows itself away in an unbelievably small footprint. The screw-on cap is secure, and changing cartridges is very easy. The pen writes beautifully and I have never had problems, even as a left-hander. My only complaint with this pen is that it is a little light—I would have preferred a weightier pen. It's also a tad on the short side, even when posted, for someone with larger hands like me. Overall, if you're in the market for a good pocket pen, go Kaweco.
