The sporty and compact look of these fountain pens transcend time and are just as attractive today as they were when they were first created years ago. Each pen is made of high-quality plastic, and is compact when capped (4.1 inches long) but very comfortable when posted (5.2 inches long). Thus the Kaweco slogan "Small in the pocket, great in the hand".

Made in Germany, the pen features a screw-on cap for extra security, a chrome-plated steel nib, and a metal Kaweco logo on the cap tip.

One blue short international ink cartridge is included. The cartridge comes inside the barrel of the pen. If the cartridge seems to be stuck inside the barrel, try gently tapping the barrel against a hard surface a few times to dislodge it.

My skyline EF nib is...

My skyline EF nib is definitely more rigid than my gold-plated EF kawecosport nib. At first I thought that it was just in my head. "It is only gold-plated after all," I can remember thinking to myself. But it is true

Love the pen. Love how it writes. I didn't realize tho that you need to keep the cap on even between writing a five minute grocery list because it takes a bit for the ink to flow again. And it's a little smaller than I would like. But it's still a fun pen.

This is my first pen...

This is my first pen by this company and I'm very happy with this pen. I had hoped that it would have arrived in the pretty tin that I see on line but it didn't. I'm not particularly a fan of short pens but when I saw the color, it was all over for me. It's color is a retro color to me and reminds me of my childhood. So glad I finally have it. Writes very nice. The nib is extra fine and writes like one. My experience with German nibs and left me at times disappointed because the nibs write broader than I like. This pen is just right for me.

I am extremely unhappy with this pen. It skips like crazy on the Clairefontaine paper I use, to the extent that the first letter of each word is not written. On cheap paper the EF nib puts down a very very thick (as thick as my Lamy M nib), wet line that bleeds and feathers. The plastic body feels extremely flimsy and cheap in an unpleasant way. It's too bad because the size and color seemed absolutely perfect, but I struggle to use the pen even for a few minutes. I hate this pen and will try to give it away to someone who has a use for it.

Great color. I was worried the EF would be scratchy, but it's nice and smooth. My favorite everyday carry pen.
