Sorry to say, but this..., April 26, 2012
This review is from Kaweco Special AL Fountain Pen - Extra Fine Nib - Black Body
Sorry to say, but this pen was very disappointing. I bought it early when no
reviews were available, but took a chance anyway, as I liked the body style.
Kind of reminded me of a skinnier Rotring 600.
Basically, this pen feels like a $20.00 pen. I love Jetpens and knew I was
taking a chance, but I will be selling this ASAP.
Also, I feel the Lamy EF nibs are superior to these, as well. This pen does
write okay, with minimal skipping and not too scratchy, but the price makes this
outrageous.
Spend that money somewhere else!

Very disappointed in..., April 18, 2012
This review is from Kaweco Special AL Fountain Pen - Extra Fine Nib - Black Body
Very disappointed in this pen, especially for the price. The grip of the pen and
both endscaps are made of cheap, rough-feeling plastic. This means that
everywhere two parts screw together (putting on or posting the cap, opening the
pen to refill) one is plastic and one is metal, which seems like a recipe for
excessive wear. The plastic feels quite flimsy and I can't imagine it will last
well.
If this pen were 25 dollars, the quality would be acceptable (but no better than
that). At over 100, it's pretty terrible.
