Named for the Japanese word tatamu
, which means "to fold," this versatile folding pouch can be used in three different size configurations using the strap and snap fasteners . Unfolded, it can hold most books and B5 notebooks. Folded in half, it can hold smaller books and B6 notebooks and pads. Folded into thirds, it works great for holding smaller notes, phones, and cables. A small zippered compartment on the outside of the pouch holds pens, pencils, and other supplies. The pouch is made from cotton.
This is the Navy pouch. Some photos feature the Red pouch.
