This pencil is slightly heavy but is fairly evenly weighted. Comfortable knurling (a bit less sharp as the Alvin Draft/Matics). The blue body is hexagonal and made of plastic and the lead reserve & advance are made of metals. Supplied eraser comes with a cleaning pin. 5.5 inches long (or 14.1 centimeters). Lead grade indicator is a bit stiff to turn but the selection firmly stays in place. FYI: Made in China.

I have this in 0.7mm and 0.9mm. This is about the same as Alvins, just that these dont have a round body, but is an octagon ( I think, not right next to me to count the sides, but you get the point). The 0.9mm spits out lead a little shorter than the Alvin 0.9mm, but overall, I would rate it with the Alvins. Very nice pencil, works very well. Only thing that would be a downside is the lead indicator. Some come more stiff than others, I got lucky and mines pretty stiff, but buying online thats the risk you take. Otherwise, definitely wont regret buying it.

One of my favorites. Wao!!! I have many pencils and this one is in the top 3. Impossible beating it considering the relation quality / price.
