These scissors are great! True, most other scissors perform similarly but the grip and color are really nice! I'm glad they come in my favorite color and the non-stick feature works pretty well. I don't usually have to use scissors to cut tape, but they are effective for when I open boxes. The compact size is also easier to fit in my pen case.

These scissors are amazing. My scissors glide across paper, yes it freaks my teacher out.

Scissors can't be all that interesting, right? Well, yeah, you are right. But I can say that these are remarkably comfortable scissors! I use scissors a lot, almost on a daily basis, and these are really great and don't leave my hand sore or tired after using them. There are these delightful rubber cushions all around the inside of both finger-holes, making the grip really comfortable and preventing any points of pressure or pain from gripping the scissor too tightly. It's still just a scissor - there are no bells or whistles or bluetooth laserbeam magic jetpacks - but it is much more comfortable than any other scissor I've used. I will be getting another pair.

These are excellent scissors to own. I use them as a part of my scrapbooking collections. I have 6 or 7 scissors that I use regularly but these are my second favorite (the first are spring scissors that reduce hand fatigue). They have not once become gunky or sticky and are extremely easy to clean. Once in a while I use a baby wipe to get any residue that have remain. Even with reside they perform flawlessly and i high recommend them.

At first I had thought they were for children being so light weight but after using them for a few months I started appreciating that detail.

Excellent. I use them to cut Lidoderm (lidocaine) patches, which are notorious for sticking to everthing but skin (i.e. to do what they were made to do). I've glopped and gooped up every pair of scissors I've tried on them until now. Finally I don't have to handle powerful solvents to clean my scissors! Couldn't be happier with them.

My son did not like to use scissors, as they didn't work well in his left hand. These scissors changed all that. If you have a left-handed child, buy these!

Finally! Scissors that work! They're not the crappy scissors that claim to be lefty/righty but have righty blades. No, these are real lefty scissors. Linkshänder.

If you're a lefty, get these. I used to be the only lefty in my class, and whenever I'd borrow scissors I wouldn't be able to cut. These are special, they cut, cut good. Oh, they also come with 2 name tags and a cap. These are good for everyone, kids, adults. Get it (before they sell out).

On a sidenote, in the description it says "...These special AiroFit scissors from Japan.", but they're from China. Don't let that discourage you from buying these great lefty scissors.

My second review of this product and much more thorough examination. I have this pair and the smaller handled pair in orange and I have found this item to be highly superior. Starting with the construction. The scissors with the smaller handle seen to much weaker. The handle cracked a fell apart after only a few uses (I have glued it together many times since). While this pair has not been so frail and to date has not even one slight crack. This pair has seemed sharper as well. The blades cut with s clean feeling, nice and smooth whereas the other type seemed rough and not such a nice experience when cutting. I can say this has to be my favorite pair of scissors I have used. For a few cents less it is a no brainer which pair I would suggest to purchase. Although the one downfall is the color selection, I believe pink is the only color this exact style comes in.

I have a pair of the smaller handle scissors in orange and I own this pair as well. I like using this pair better because they feel better in my hand and they are $1.50 less. What a bargain.

I bought these because I needed to be able to cut bandages for my right hand and couldn't do it with right handed scissors. I like them so much I bought them for a left handed friend and got myself the right handed scissors because of the protective cap, which I found to be a good feature.

These are special. Not a bad price just for some decent left-handed scissors, which is why I bought them for my son (left-handed scissors really do make a difference compared to those claiming to work either way). But they are superior to the average pair of school scissors- nice grip, excellent cutting action and performance. Slightly larger than the usual Fiskars children's scissors but would be fine for a younger school-age child. I have smallish adult hands & also found them comfortable. Special touches like the name label stickers & blades cover made my other right-handed children envious of their lefty brother.

I liked these scissors so much, I bought two pairs... in different orders. I do a -lot- of shipping and often need to cut tape. These scissors slice through tape with absolutely no problem. Highly recommended!

However, do not use these scissors to cut anything else. They're not really meant for chopping paper, cardboard, or any material, as you may damage the blade.

These really do work. I have to cut tape to make labels waterproof for my store and was having a ridiculous time with the tape sticking to the scissors and leaving that sticky residue behind. I used these scissors for the first time a few days ago and I'm in love. They cut through the tape easily, the tape doesn't have a tendency to attach itself to the scissors and there is no residue. Excellent product!
