Ordinary American scissors become gunky and gooey if you continue to use them to cut adhesive items such as packing tape. Over time, the scissors will become sticky and hard to open. These special AiroFit scissors from Japan are not only ergonomic, but they also feature a special coating that prevents any sticky buildup. Cut through tape again and again without affecting the performance of your scissors. It's an ideal tool for the office, warehouse, and craft makers. Slim and wide handle models are available to accommodate your hand size and preference.

Cannot overstate the...

Cannot overstate the awesomeness that are these pairs of scissors. Ordered one because I hand cut a ton of stuff on a regular basis. Things I frequently wage war with include tricky stuff like acrylic paper, vinyl transfer paper, card stock, sticky contact paper, etc. and all of those are no match for these scissors. Cutting is a breeze. Precise curves and tiny corners are significantly less scary. Easy to control and maneuver. Reduces hand fatigue and prevents painful callouses and numbness after extend use, something most regular scissors don't do no matter how ergonomic they claim to be.

I chose this particular model because it seemed to be on the bigger side, and I do not regret my choice. If you have medium sized hands like me, this pair is probably a good match for you. Only shame is that they appear to have this particular model in just pink!

My second review of this...

My second review of this product and much more thorough examination. I have this pair and the smaller handled pair in orange and I have found this item to be highly superior. Starting with the construction. The scissors with the smaller handle seen to much weaker. The handle cracked a fell apart after only a few uses (I have glued it together many times since). While this pair has not been so frail and to date has not even one slight crack. This pair has seemed sharper as well. The blades cut with s clean feeling, nice and smooth whereas the other type seemed rough and not such a nice experience when cutting. I can say this has to be my favorite pair of scissors I have used. For a few cents less it is a no brainer which pair I would suggest to purchase. Although the one downfall is the color selection, I believe pink is the only color this exact style comes in.

I have a pair of the smaller handle scissors in orange and I own this pair as well. I like using this pair better because they feel better in my hand and they are $1.50 less. What a bargain.

How are these so inexpensive?! At the same time I purchased these, I also picked up a pair of Raymay mini bean scissors at approximately the same price. The latter are overpriced and barely work while these, granted are full size, but feel like a DREAM in the hand and slice adhesives like nobody's business. I carry them in my Lihit travel pouch and look for any excuse to whip em out. I'd probably pay 2x more than retail for them. The finger grip is the ideal size for the small to average hand and the blades are nicely weighted and sharp. I'm definitely going to pursue more all purpose scissors from this brand as I'm reserving these for sticky situations. One of my favorite buys from a recent 27-item order. Thanks, JetPens, for introducing me to these economical scissors!

This is my first pair of Kokuyo AiroFit Non-Stick Scissors. My hands are medium size and I found the handles a nice fit which made the scissors very easy to handle. They seem ideal for light to medium weight paper. I tried them on my 140 lb watercolor paper and while they worked fine, I would probably avoid any long projects with that combination.
