How does Japan become so innovative with pencil cases? First you have ones that transform into upright pencil stands (like the Kokuyo Neo Critz) and now there are cases that open into convenient trays. The C2 is made of sturdy polyester material and opens up widely to become a 9 x 5 inch rectangular tray for your pens and pencils. It allows easy visibility of all your writing instruments and can easily hold about 20+ pens. A variety of colors are available.

This does exactly what I wanted it to do. It holds all of my technical pencils and I can grab them without having to dig much. This case has a bright interior which is NOT resistant to pencil lead smudges. If you plan on storing a lot of sharpened pencils, it would be worthwhile to invest in some pencil caps to keep your case looking nice and clean.

I got this case because of its unique design and ability to hold a bunch of newly purchased brush pens. It is currently holding 18 brush pens and regular ones like a champ, no bulging or zipper failure. (it can fit Tombo dual brush pens at an angle perfectly if there is room) Well crafted and the color combo is really attractive!! I was skeptical at first since this was a bit pricey but it is definitely worth every penny. i may purchase another one in the near future :]

I was a little disappointed when it arrived.

It's greener than it appears in the pictures. I was expecting taupe/khaki-ish. It's definitely green.

It's also bulkier than I expected and seemed kind of low-qual.

That said, I've grown to love this pencil case. Fits all my stuff, but can be wedged into convenient nooks in bags. It's surprisingly sturdy, has held up perfectly well until!

It was stolen today! Guess that says something about its coolness. I'm back for another.

This is an awesome little case for fountain pens. It holds a dozen fountain pens of various sizes. Since some of my pens are fairly large, I'm sure it would hold a larger number of smaller pens and pencils. This case is perfect for me, because I like to store my fountain pens nib end up. So I put them in the case with all the nibs facing the end where the zipper snaps on, and then I can put the case in my bag with the zipper-loop end up. This way, it is a simple matter to grab the zipper loop and pull the entire case out, and my pens are not leaking, because they have been stored properly. I will probably buy more of these cases. I also knit, and this case would be great for knitting tools as well.

I also like the way the case opens up. It is very easy to see the pen I want and reach in to get it. The sides and bottom are firm and slightly padded, so it provides good protection for my pens.
