I bought this pencil sometime last year for my then 6 year old son. It is a
perfect mechanical pencil for a child to start with and being .9mm is not very
prone to breakage. The mechanism seems sturdy and overall the pencil is very
well constructed and solid. I highly recommend it for younger school age
children.

One of my all time favorites! I love the grip, the barrel diameter and texture.
Tip is nice and simple, which goes in your pocket easily. If it gets turned
upside down, the leads sometimes fall out. I wish it had an eraser - it would
become the ultimate if that happened.

This is a great 0.9mm mechanical pencil. The size is SLIGHTLY bigger than your
traditional wooden pencil, good for you if if have medium/small sized hands. The
grip is comfortable and well balanced. A quality Japanese/Korean pencil. I like
the rubberized texture on the pencil, as well as the colour. I find myself using
it regularly. Good for 6 year olds. Good for 40 year olds. Good for everyone who
wants a thick point.

I liked this pencil much better than I was expecting. I bought it because I
wanted a 0.9 mm pencil at my desk for the times that a thick line is needed. I
did not expect to use it much. But this pencil is very comfortable to hold, well
balanced, and solidly built. Not bad for $2.50. The body has a rubberized
texture that is very easy on the fingers. I find myself using it regularly for
quick notes and the like. The size of this pencil is essentially the same as a
traditional wooden pencil.

Kokuyo Campus Junior Mechanical Pencil - 1.3 mm - Blue Body
This is the only 1.3mm pencil that I've found aside from the Staedtler Art
Nr.177. I love this pencil. It's not "just for kids" simply because it has a
1.3mm size and bright colors. The material used for the body creates a superior
grip and feel. Kokuyo never fails to design products extremely well. My only
wish for this pencil would be an eraser, but that doesn't change my love for
this pencil overall.

Kokuyo Campus Junior Mechanical Pencil - 1.3 mm - Blue Body
I really love the super fat 1.3 mm lead on this mechanical pencil. The lead is
easy to insert at the top of the pencil. But it is also just as easy for the
lead to fly out of the top of the pencil and land in pieces on the floor. I
prefer using the Pentel Fiesta which is 1.3 mm and has an eraser to keep the
lead from falling out. The Japanese bookstore I originally purchased the Pentel
Fiesta no longer carries it. I wish Jet Pens would carry it!

Kokuyo Campus Junior Mechanical Pencil - 1.3 mm - Blue Body
I bought this mechanical pencil for my 4 year old sometime last year. 1.3mm is
a perfect lead size for a preschooler to learn with and these pencils are
sturdily constructed with a solid mechanism. I recommend it for anyone with
pre-school age children.

Kokuyo Campus Junior Mechanical Pencil - 1.3 mm - Blue Body
Just purchases all 4 of these both the 0.9 and 1.3mm. I honestly just wanted to
try out a 1.3mm pencil, but have to say I really like them. I guess they are a
bit cheap but still quite unique, and relatively comfy. Downside is no eraser
but not a big deal, as I always use a separate eraser =]

Kokuyo Campus Junior Mechanical Pencil - 0.9 mm - Pink Body
I bought this mechanical pencil for my 7 year old niece sometime last year. It
is a great pencil for a younger school age child to learn on. The mechanism is
sturdy and overall the pencil has solid construction. Being .9mm it is not
prone to breakage for younger users. I recommend it for anyone with a younger
school age child.
