DescriptionSpecificationsQuestions & Answers
The silky-smooth paper in this notebook is subtly printed with a unique layout: a dot grid with horizontal lines running through the dots. With this paper, it is suddenly easier to write organized evenly-spaced notes and to neatly align all those triangles and cubes on your geometry homework. The paper was developed by observing the note-taking habits of students from Tokyo Daigaku (Tokyo University, or Todai), one of Japan's top universities. As a result, it caters to students' specific needs. Students, scientists, and anyone else who needs help corralling their notes into organized text and diagrams will find this notebook delightful.

Each page has 30 lines of 7 mm rule. Dimensions: 7.0 x 9.9 inches (17.9 x 25.2 cm).

This is a pack of 5 notebooks.

I bought a pack of these...

I bought a pack of these a few months ago, and I love them. The paper is very smooth and is really good with my fountain pens and gel-pens. I have Frixion pens as well and those perform really well on this paper. Originally I only wanted to use them for physics but then I also ended up using them for math and chemistry. Obviously I ran out pretty quickly. I ordered another pack today and can't wait for them to arrive.
The only negative thing I can say about these notebooks is that there aren't enough pages in them. There are only thirty per notebook, but they're such good notebooks in every other way that I'm more then willing to let that slide. And on the plus side, it means you get a real feeling of achievement when you fill them up. I could never fill up my old 100 page notebooks.

Positive:
+Nice bright colors.
+fountain pen and gel-pen friendly paper.
+Great for math, physics and chemistry. (Also for the occasional doodle)
+The dot design obviously. Even the messiest person on Earth will be able to organize their homework in these.
+You will want to use them for everything.

Negative:
-Only thirty pages per notebook.
-The cover is a medium card stock so it could feel a little flimsy to some, I only used it on tables, so I had no problems.

Warning! For those of us who like to write with wide lines and big letters, and for those of us who like to write really really small. There are 2 versions of these, one has 6 millimeter(0.24 inches) line height and the other has 7 millimeter(0.28 inches) line height. Make sure you know which is which.

I've been using these...

I've been using these notebooks since the semester started and I absolutely love them! Yes, there are only 30 pages per notebook, but I only take around 1 page of notes per class which means these are perfect. Having only 30 pages make them really light to carry around, too. I can carry all 5 without weighing myself down which isn't the case with most other 1-subject notebooks. They're also the same size as my tablet, so they're easy to slip into a bag with it. I also find the dotted rule to be incredibly helpful. It's really easy to neatly organize my notes, make clear columns, and lists.

Unfortunately, these notebooks aren't easily folded over unlike spiral notebooks. It's not a big deal, but if you're going to write with these, make sure there's enough room on your desk to fit the whole thing. Also, the pages can't easily be ripped out, which means that these are great for notes, but you should carry around some loose leaf paper in case you have to hand something in during a class or have to write a note for someone.

I love these notebooks....

I love these notebooks. I bought them on a whim when I was in one of my new semesters at college and I haven't used any other notebook since. These are absolutely fantastic for math because the dots allow you to space and draw neatly and they have helped me with labeling. I always had the problem of writing too large and tiring my hand out quickly so i think the lines are perfect for forcing me to write smaller. Keeps your notes organized and clean looking because of the almost grid like design helps with spacing and visuals.
The size is good. It's smaller and thinner, easy to carry around ones for different subjects. There aren't too many pages because they are small and thin but one notebook still lasts me a semester of note taking for a class which is exactly what i need.

Really nice paper in these notebooks. The paper feels a bit thin but holds up to a fountain pen just fine

Pretty neat little binders. Not a lot of pages, but this was noted in the description. Perfect for review of subjects for the GRE or MCAT. Paper is smooth and thin, shows the shadow of my gel pens through the page but not enough to notice unless I am looking hard.
