If you like Tamoe River paper, you will like this stuff as well. This paper is just a bit heavier than Tamoe River, a little more opaque, but the surface is the same velvety smooth texture that handles fountain pens fearlessly. I used my wettest writers and dip pens, and there was no feathering or bleed-through. Really lovely stuff, at a bargain price.

Beautiful stuff. Very thin, lightweight paper but also feels surprisingly strong. Very similar to Tomoe River, but feels a little more robust. Excellent for use with fountain pens, beautiful smooth writing surface with no feathering or bleeding - although due to the very thin paper the ghost image of the writing is visible on the back of the page which could be a problem for some people although I don't mind. I use mine as loose leaf, either in a Filofax Deskfax at native B5 size or cutdown to just over Filofax Personal size (ffx personal is 171mm tall, just under the width of a B5 page) and punched appropriately. The only problems I have with it are that nobody in the UK stocks this paper, and also it would be great if we could persuade Filofax themselves to print their organiser inserts on this stuff instead of the dreadful paper they currently use...

I really liked the quality of the paper. Worked great for fountain pens, gel ink, and roller ball. Really liked how pencils glided across page. I just wish it was available with lines or grids.

The paper is GREAT. I just wish the binding was a little stronger. In order to write, you need to flip the top & all pages but the one you're using open, and often this causes earlier pages to tear out. As someone who prefers an intact notebook, I'd rather it stayed together.
That being said the paper is smooth and takes ink really well, even my wettest fountain pens, no feathering or bleeding. If you're looking for something to use ultimately as loose-leaf, this is it!
