Kokuyo's Campus Smart Ring binder notebook is ultra-slim and light. As with binders, you can re-arrange pages by opening the rings, but this notebook is as slim as a regular notebook. Slip several in your bag, and you'll see how easy it is to carry them from place to place. Great for meetings and classes, the notebook has flexible covers that fold back to occupy less desk space. This notebook contains a contents page and 10 sheets of B5 Kokuyo Campus loose leaf paper with 36 lines of dotted 6 mm rule per page. The maximum capacity is 25 sheets.

The notebook comes with a plastic casing that covers the top part of the spine. Carefully remove it before using the notebook.

Paper dimensions: 6.9 x 9.8 inches (17.6 x 25.0 cm).

Really like this petite B5 size. The paper is ~7.25" x 10.25" and the notebook cover extends another 1/8" beyond the paper. The notebook spine is plastic and possibly fragile - so consider using this in a protected space. The notebook comes with about 25 pages and I added another 50. There is still room for more pages. I color code my activities so I will be ordering more of these to use for different projects. So much more fun than a plain spiral school book. Oh and I write with a fine nib fountain pen on both sides of the page, no problem.

I love Kokuyo, it's all I use in college, however this one isn't what I had expected. So, the paper is still the same incredible paper, but the spiral portion is a little strange. The mechanism is a little silly at times where it won't open all the way, and then it's suppose to kind of snap back. The thing is, you can fold this notebook completely over like you would a normal notebook. What I mean is, the cover doesn't fold completely to the back of the notebook so you can write, you have to leave it open like a book to write in it. If you are cramped for space, another style might be more suitable. Because you've essentially doubled your space with this one...an alternative would be to pull the paper out in class to take notes, then put them back in after you get home or later after class. If you're pressed for time between classes, the last thing you want to do is fiddle with pages and the mechanism isn't as smooth as I would have liked to make that transition easier. All in all, these are fun and small, great portability, but they are going to be wider than a typical notebook because of the fold over issue. If you are looking for smaller paper and notebook, I recommend the same B5 paper with the ringed binder rather than the smart ring. I have them in A4 size and they're amazingly sturdy. Otherwise, these are smart, light, portable and cute! I use pilot frixion gel pens on the paper and it's great! Erases like a breeze!

The plastic cover is pleasantly pink. It's very cute, and would definitely fit in a handbag or small purse. The binder rings take some getting used to; my main concern is whether or not the plastic mechanism will hold if the binder is jostled around.
The paper is smooth, and easy to write with. The lines are actually a very pale grey, which is a nice change to the dark blue that American notebook paper usually has.
It's a very cute, portable binder, and is very light. I recommend it as an alternative to the thicker binders that take up way too much space in backpacks (especially if you tend to lug around textbooks).

Cute pale pastel pink color! The spine is just a littleee bit flimsy but I don't think it will be much of a problem unless you really try to break it haha. I can't wait to use it in class!
