I like the paper of this...

I like the paper of this notebook for the weight and smoothness of it. I like that the lines are very faint and neutral-colored so as not to detract my eye much from my written words. I don't like how the bright blue lines of much standard American notebook paper is (even though it's cheap and in great abundance!), and that's what background I'm coming from while comparing this Kokuyo notebook.

This notebook is nice and compact. The construction is simple but sufficient, the cover is plain and neutral, but I like it. I'm not rough with my Kokuyo notebooks to begin with, but I don't treat them like they're glass either. They generally hold up exceptionally well over months/years of use for me without bindings coming loose, without pages falling out, but maybe with only minor corner edge wear, if that.
