Durable, but not the best usability.
The Good: The material this is made out of is very tough, yet flexible and
comfortable to the touch. The bookmarks appear to be very well connected. The
flaps that hold the back cover of the notebooks in place is also very tough. I
expect this cover to last a long, long time. Also, the front and back pouches
will fit a smaller notebook very well, allowing me to carry up to four notebooks
at once. Finally, the space left from where the closed notebook ends and where
the cover ends leaves a good amount of space for post-it style bookmarks to be
well protected, especially when placed on the side of the page (as opposed to
the top or bottom).
The Bad: I was unable to comfortably fit two 100-page Kokuyo Campus notebooks
inside and close the cover. Replacing one of these with a thinner notebook works
well. More importantly, the strap that holds the cover closed sits underneath
the cover when it's open. Writing over the bump caused by this strap is
distracting. If I'm going to do a serious amount of writing, I take the notebook
out of the cover. I always take the left side notebook out for any writing, as
it does not lay well on top of the right side notebook. However, I'm not sure
any cover will fix this problem.
I use this as my daily driver to hold my work notebooks. It does a great job
