It's no wonder these...,
December 22, 2010
It's no wonder these are sold out. They are fantastic! Scissors are usually a
pain in the neck to carry along, whether you use a pencil case or prefer to
carry writing supplies in a pocket of your bag. But for a lot of jobs, it's
handy to have them, so you had to kind of suck it up.
These are a great solution, because they just stay out of the way until and
unless you need them. Specifically, they eliminate the three greatest sources of
irritation that you get if you try to take along some scissors: the awkward
shape; the blades that keep nicking and scratching everything (especially since
they ALWAYS fall open); and the finger loops, which keep getting in the way when
you put stuff back in a pencil case. Sure, maybe they aren't the best if you
need to be cutting miles of paper (although they're doing pretty good so far!),
and they are clearly not designed for super thick card or even fabric, but then
that's true for most pairs of scissors you see out there - those are considered
specialized jobs, for which you need other types of tools. But for general paper
jobs they can't be beat.

I love these scissors!...,
October 8, 2011
I love these scissors! They're by far more convenient and travel-friendly than
any normal pair of scissors out there. I showed these to relatives while I was
on vacation, and all of them were in awe, asking where I got them. They're just
so handy to have around, throw in a bag, whatever!
As an added bonus: since they look like a pen, airlines don't hassle you if you
forget they're in your purse or carry-on. Not that I endorse bringing them
purposefully to "test" the airline security workers, but those of you out there
who have had nail clippers/trimmers/small scissors confiscated & thrown away
because you forgot you had them... well, you know what I'm talking about.

Compact and portable, no more bulkiness! You can carry this in your pocket and
have it double as a self defense weapon

PROS:

January 31, 2012
PROS:
- Not an awkward shape, fits into pencil cases nicely.
- Attractive design and colour.
- Safer, cap on end of blades.
CONS:
- Pricey.
- Not made for heavy cutting.
- Works well with 'lighter' cutting.
- Clean, sharp cut on paper.
- Loops feel like they may come undone if they're held strongly.
OVER ALL:
- A good product if used for occasionally trimming or cutting hand outs to size
etc.
- Feel awkward to use at first but eventually becomes easier - maybe try not to
hold the handles roughly.

I love the siccors. Expensive but worth the cost. Super convenient and I don't
run the rist of damaging my leather pencil case anymore.

May 7, 2010
These are very good scissors that cut VERY well. At first it seemed as though
getting used to the spaghetti strap handles would be impossible, however after
using it a while you no longer notice it, and they feel like normal scissors in
the hand. The only downfall to these scissors is that the blades are NOT long
enough!!!
However, it clips perfectly into the pen compartment of my messenger book bag,
so I will never have to worry about losing it, unlike my other pair of scissors
which I lost twice.
overall a good investment

Very very nice. I never used to carry around scissors with me because they were
too bulky to fit in my pencil case. These however are scarcely bigger than a
normal pen, so fit perfectly in my pencil case. Very convenient, cut well,
highly recommend!

These scissors have an nice weight and cut very well. The adjustable bands take
some getting used to but once you get your finger positioning down, the scissors
feel very good in the hand.

I apologize in advance for writing this here.
In response to the review posted before me. I think it is ignorant rating the
quality of an item based on speculation. Even worse is to give the product a low
rating (3 stars). If you want to strike a conversation about a product or to
state passive aggressive comments do so on your own blog where people who care
about your opinion can visit and participate in the discussion.
Manufacturers as well as the retailer rely on honest evaluations of products to
make sales. I personally have a hard time buying something with less than 4
stars from any web site when there is only a few reviews. Fortunately I take the
time to read most reviews and can determine if the rating is some what accurate
or nonsense. Not everyone is that diligent. Please show some respect for peoples
lively hood and other peoples valuable time and refrain from discrediting their
products from pure speculation. I am sure they will appreciate it and so will
millions of consumers browsing the internet on a daily basis.

If you are looking for surgical scissors, you should buy them. if you are
looking for something safe and easy to carry around, decent quality cutting
edge, and just plain good design for the purpose, buy these scissors. Yes, they
are expensive, but not exorbitant and they are FUN.

Just got these today and I ended up cutting up a bunch of junk mail that came at
the same time. These are ridiculously cool. So far they seem to cut very well.
They also seem very sturdy and well put together. I look forward to putting them
to use. One of my coworkers and I have a little ongoing contest on who can put
together the coolest pencil case set (yes, we are actually that nerdy) and these
are going to put me in the lead.

I've actually been looking for something like this for a long long time.
Although it doesn't have a good fit in my hand with the flexible handles (Might
take time to get used to as I have very skinny hands anyway), the point is
_portability_. It does it's job and cuts VERY WELL. It's the perfect tool for
people like me who bring their stationary with them everywhere ;)

Awesome tool. I was using it for a good couple months before it started to get
dull and loose. I used it for everything from cutting plastic packages to
clipping magazines, to pattern drafting with oak board. They could be better
built, (they would be awesome in steel or titanium with a full tang!), but I
suppose they do the job.
I even managed to sneak it past the TSA, unintentionally, of course, but the
airport security in India noticed them and confiscated them.

OMG...how innovative are these scissors? Thrilled about them. When folded up,
they are virtually the same size as a pen. I carry a mini pencil/pen case in my
purse and these fit in it perfectly so now I will always have a pair of scissors
with me. Who hasn't run into a moment when you have needed a pair of scissors
and weren't at home or your office? Regular scissors just aren't practical to
carry around. They cut well too! Recommend!

Very interesting scissors, a good piece for conversation starters, but, the
finger holes are prone to tear easy and it is not suitable for cutting a lot of
paper. I have this scissors in my pen bag all the time due to its form factor.

Very well designed. Impressed with the "full tang" blades. I would like to see
more products by whoever designed these.
