This is really just the Tachikawa T-36, only a little more expensive. The only differences between the two is the lack of the Tachikawa logo and the Kuretake seems to have a lacquer on it. Personally, I'm not a fan of the lacquer. After a long time of drawing it begins to feel kind of gummy.

Aside from that, same weight, same width, same length, same shape as the Tachikawa T-36.

This is, by far, the best nib holder I've ever used. I just wish it was longer and heavier like the Speedball. But the grip and the point where the nib is held are excellent.

Very comfortable pen holder. I ordered it in red and for what ever reason I got it in pink but still a great holder. Holds a variety of pens with its double gasket but because not a sticker rubber, i found that one if my smaller pens falls out

Squishy in a good way for the grip and big enough to be easy to hold. Simple to take care of, and entirely utilitarian.
