I totally agree with the two other reviews before me. Unlike most brush pens, I'm not afraid of destroying the "nib" on this pen. I don't usually like brush pens for that reason - after a lot of use, it seems like most brush pens get all bent out of shape. They lose the fineness of the point. Not so with this pen.

I doubt I'll buy another (especially at this price) - but only because it doesn't fit with my style. If you like brush pens, you really can't go wrong with this one.

Both tips on this pen are very sturdy and don't get bent out of shape. However, the ink is a bit dry, especially on the medium tip. The fine tip was manageable, but the medium tip was very dry if I wrote with any sort of speed. Additionally, the ink is NOT waterproof. If you're looking for a fine-tip sign pen, I would go with the Zebra one instead.

Great brush pen for doing caricatures. Nice line variation and decent durability. When Dixon changed the nib on the thinrite 690 I started looking for a good replacement pen and this does nicely. It has two brush sizes but the larger one is working fine so far even for detail work.

Both tips are really sturdy and make fantastic lines. It's a joy to use and great for inking. The ink is super dark, and it's really easy to control. Love it =)

I love this pen. It keeps a very good point, and is wonderful to use. It draws and writes very smoothly with a consistent line quality, and is very easy to control. It also offers the convenience of having two different sizes to choose from on the same pen.

When in use, the points have a somewhat stiff, "spongy" feel and bounce back to shape after each stroke. It's very easy to use and predictable - meaning line variation and quality is pretty consistent. The pens are disposable, not refillable, and the ink is waterproof once dried.

I recently started using this pen exclusively for my book signings - as the inside cover is slick and smooth. Most pens would either bead up and/or rub off or seep through the paper. However, this pen is perfect for quick smooth lines that are dark and permanent - without the leakage!

At the moment, this is my favorite brush pen! The dual points are very convenient to have on a single pen - reducing my load by a pen or two. So far, I haven't had any problems with the ink drying out and streaking yet - but this is something that might differ from pen to pen and type to type. The ink dries fast and dark, and the overall springy-sponginess of the points really make drawing with a brush pen much more enjoyable!

not a bad brush and like...

not a bad brush and like it said in the description, the nib is firm and doesn't bend or split at the ends. however, that is not my style of brush and I would have appreciated if they had a better closeup of the nibs in the images because it was not as I expected. both ends seemed to have the same feeling on both ends. the lines only having a very small difference in width as they are practically the same size. I draw fairly quick with a brush pen because I expect the ink to come out smoothly, the inktaperqed a bit when i brushed against the paper too fast.
nothing wrong with it at all, just not my style so i remove one star for my personal taste, but over all it is a 5 star pen for anybody else who would enjoy a firm bullet brush pen.

My new favorite brush pen! Medium side is very flexible, but very thin lines can be drawn with it, which I love! The finer side I use less, but is still a nice brush. I love this brush pen!

A decent pen, but it seems to wear out faster than other pens I have tried. I think the Kuretake 14 hard is better and can do all that this pen can do and the 14 last much longer..

my first multi brush pen - the tips are pretty stiff and require some breaking in, and after 3 months of light sketching and journaling it's still fairly rigid. that's not so bad for drawing/doodling, but i can't help but to crave a little more character in the lettering when i journal. i'm definitely gonna shop around for another brush pen variety.
