The Tegami Letter Pen, newly created in 2009 by Kuretake, is a classy thin body pen for the workplace. They are slim like the Pilot Hi-Tec-C Cavalier Executive Gel Pens, have a nice weight and are refillable with different tip styles (brush, ballpoint, and liquid ink with lettering tip) - super versatile and fun. The original pen comes with a lettering tip refill (similar to a super fine hard brush) with black liquid ink.
i LOVE love love this pen! even when scribbling notes, it makes my handwriting
so beautiful! the Tegami ink is NOT waterproof; and it also takes a few seconds
to dry. it WILL smear.
it looks like the CocoIro refills are the same as the Tegami refills (same nib),
but i don't know if the CocoIro ink is the identical formulation.
i bought the black enamel one, and was dismayed that bits of the enamel chipped
off (on the butt-end, where the cap would fit while in use). still, i LOVE this
pen! i'm considering getting a silver one, which presumably won't have this
