Lamy Accent Matte Finish Fountain Pen - Fine Nib - Black Body

I had a F. Pen along time ago, this was my first one since then and I love it. The extra fine is just right it is thin enough for detail in a quick sketch and broad enough to write entire notes in my Physics lecture. NO SKIPPING or SCRATCHING, Outstanding pen.

I love everything about this pen. I am partial to fine point pens, so it was an easy transition to this fountain pen. It writes smooth, and I haven't had any issues with the nib being scratchy (I do write on good quality paper, and I use mostly J. Herbin inks). This was a great addition to my ever-growing Lamy collection.

I have a Mont Blanc and a very nice Pilot Fountain Pen plus a few others...this writes as smooth as the Mont Blanc...the tip is a bit broader than what I like and is equivalent to my MB fountain pen which is a fine point. But otherwise, a very smooth writing fountain pen. It's even inspired me to write this review and buy another LAMY cousin.

I bought this pen after starting out with a Lamy Safari EF. I wanted something modern and clean looking that I could kind of show off at times, but I wasn't willing to sacrifice function at all. This pen is very comfortable and easy to write with. I have tried Noodler's blue-black and Iroshizuku's Kiri-same, and the extra fine nib has been smooth with every single use. The nib isn't as fine as their Japanese counterparts, but writes beautifully. The pen is hefty but not heavy and feels well-balanced. the cap is a twist on/off and the clip is spring-mounted for easy on/off. I would definitely buy another if it weren't for the price

This is not your typical Lamy.

It's much, much better. This pen is Solid, Tough, and the converter holds a massive amount of ink. I'm in the Army and this Pen goes to the field with me. Tight fitting screw on cap works every time. Although it is solid and has weight, it does not make the trade off to bulk. Although the Barrel is larger than your average fountain pen, it still fits in the pen sleeves on my uniform and does not inhibit my writing. The Nib is labelled EF, I find it closer to a japanese Medium, but not quite.
