I love this pen. It's become my everyday pen, as it writes so smoothly and finely. It's like writing with warm honey-butter. Mmm. The weight is nice as well, though maybe a tad heavier than I would like with the cap posted. But I've gotten used to it.

The color is gorgeous, by the way. Even better in person than on screen. And I've paired it with the Iroshizuku Syo-ro ink for a perfect combo of color and function. (Well, for me anyway.) :D

The Lamy green is a gorgeous metallic pen. The extra fine nib is smooth and great for every day writing. I bought and use the Lamy turquoise ink cartridge for this pen. In addition to using a Lamy fountain pen with black ink, I am trying a different color ink for note taking to underline important key words or phrases. I also purchased the purple extra fine nib fountain pen and use the violet-purple ink with that one for the same reason. I tend to remember things better through color association.

Another great feature I like is the fact that there is a window in the body so that you can see how much ink you have left. Lamy offers this fountain pen in a variety of colors and nib sizes, and the price is great for a starter pen.

At the mid to entry level price range, this is a purchase well worth making. The pen has a nice balance, good weight and a smooth pull that is nice for writing and drawing (I mainly use it for drawing). My only complaint is the occasional ink blockage. Other than that, it's a very nice pen.
