My "goldilocks zone" nib for my lamy safari. Has the boldness of the medium

Highly recommended if you have pretty normal-sized hand writing. Works well for
both cursive and printed letters.

My favorite size of Lamy nib. As another reviewer said, it is my "goldilocks"
size - not too big, not too small. I find the extra fine nib to be rather
scratchy at times, and the medium can be a bit too thick for some papers (though
very buttery to write with.)
This is the perfect in-between - leaves a bold line without having to make my
letters/lines too large and is still very smooth to write with. Can also write

My lettering is average size, and I can write very quickly when taking notes -
this nib keeps up with no problem; doesn't flood the page with ink, but doesn't

First off, i had bought a Lamy Safari, which had a medium nib. It was smooth and
juicy, however, a bit too wide for cheap paper that is prone to feather. This
was exactly what i had in mind: very smooth, not too wet or too dry and roughly
of the width of a medium gel pen. This is the great thing about Lamy pens, one
nib fits all.
