I have waited a long time for a turquoise Safari and knew if was just a matter of time! And limited edition? I had to grab one. May be ordering a couple more since I love love LOVE this color. The picture is true to color, maybe a smidge darker due to the quality of the photograph. Plus, it's NOT turquoise, it's aquamarine :)

I have and adore this pen. It's absolutely aquamarine, not teal. I have trouble imagining how the other reviewer got to teal with the color. It functions beautifully and is a great color. I prefer my Safari's in the lighter colors, but always worry about staining, which doesn't seem to be an issue on this one. It cleans up very easily. It's also a limited edition color, so I feel a little extra fancy with it.

Lovely turquoise color. Great pen! I have a little Lamy collection, and I love this color. It's a vibrant, light turquoise blue. I'm surprised by the review below calling it teal. I have 2 of these, and all I see is blue. Bright Aqua or blue turquoise is what I'd call it. I don't see any green in it. It's blue. I have this pen in both medium and fine, and they both write well. This is my favorite Lamy. It looks as pictured on my screen.

The person below calling it "teal" must be color blind. This pen is in NO WAY teal. Besides, LAMY is the one who calls it "Aquamarine" specifically, why would JetPens change the name color?

This is my first Lamy Safari pen. I love it. The color is great. The color is just as described. I love the way it writes and have been using it in my journal daily. I'm now a fountain pen convert. I will be adding more of these to my collection in the future.

Just got my Lamy Safari a few weeks ago, and it writes gorgeously. It takes no pressure to write and yet if I do use some pressure, it doesn't blot. I love the color of the pen and how it feels in the hand (not too heavy, but not terribly light).

Let me first say that I'm not one to write product reviews, but in this case, I am going to make an exception, because this is an exceptional pen. I received my first order from JetPens, and I couldn't be happier. The quality and pride that JetPens displays both in their product line and their customer service is exemplary. I have already placed my 2nd order for another pen and supplies. The Lamy Safari arrived in excellent condition, and my order was complete and well-packaged. I decided to test this pen out using the Lamy blue ink cartridge included with this pen. The ink flow started almost immediately, and after writing a couple of pages with it, not one skip. The fit and finish of this pen belies it's price. In my opinion, you cannot buy a better writing instrument even for for 2-3 times the amount of money you will spend on the Lamy Safari. The smoothness of the nib along with the quick drying time of the ink have immediately made this my new favorite pen. Whether I'm writing a letter or journal writing, my new Lamy Safari is in my hand. Thank you to the JetPens staff for your professionalism and your prompt order fulfillment; I will gladly join the ranks of satisfied JetPens' customers! Kudos!

I purchased one of these as a gift for my girlfriend and it has been a great introductory pen for her. The solid construction allows her to throw it in her bag without having to worry. The pen is a bright, happy color, though perhaps not quite as bright as the image on the website.

I also gave her a bottle of J Herbin Bleu Pervenche to match and she is very happy using it for grocery lists, grading, etc. Heartily recommeneded!

I have to go along with everyone else, this pen is not teal. This is a beautiful turquoise/aqua blue pen. And even more important, it is a pleasure to use. I had a standard Lamy Safari and I always found it a very comfortable writing instrument. This one is just as comfortable. Refilling using the optional converter is easy. Since I am not a big fan of cartridges, I recommending purchasing the converter.

This is NOT the color AQUA pen you will receive. You will get the actual pen in "AQUAMARINE" a DARK TEAL GREEN, NOT this beautiful AQUA. I do not buy one bit, customer services response that computer monitors alter the color. I have a perfect computer that has 100% accuracy in color view. This is AQUA you will GET TEAL. VERY DISAPPOINTED, because i adore this pen!!
