One cannot help but rejoice over the smooth flowing ink and crisp calligraphy lines from the Lamy Joy Calligraphy fountain pen. It is easy to refill with ink cartridges and its unique fountain pen design allows for continuous ink flow. 1.1, 1.5, and 1.9 mm nib widths are available.

This pen is made of shiny black plastic, and features an ergonomic grip and flexible spring brass wire clip. A variety of ink cartridges or a Lamy converter can be used. Installing ink cartridges is easy—simply insert the cartridge into the pen nib section (no need to push completely), then twist the barrel onto the nib section. Attaching the barrel automatically punctures and installs the ink cartridge.

This set includes one blue Lamy T10 ink cartridge and one Lamy Z 24 converter.

For the price, it's amazing. While it is a little weird that they made it so much longer than a Safari, much of the basic layout is pure Safari/All-Star/Vista. In fact, everything from the barrel threads forward is basically Safari. Balance is good, nib is SMOOTH. This is my first italic nib, so I was seeing occasionally some skipping when I first started a letter. Then I realized that I wasn't holding it square to the paper (and the nib wasn't centered on the feed).
This pen's nib really made my writing much more legible when I write cursive. I have terrible writing and every bit helps. Feed/Flow is excellent with J. Herbin Perle Noire ink. I tried this nib on my Safari loaded with Bay State Blue, and it was awesome on that, too. I want to get all the Lamy nibs now! This pen is a killer, killer bargain at the JetPens price. Converter included!!

I have been a fan of Lamy pens every since I discovered fountain pens, and this flat nib gives your handwriting a touch of elegance. The package comes with the pen and a converter, and a great plus about the pen is that it has a clip on the pen cap that anchors well against a lab coat.

I write a lot of handwritten letters, and my friends love the letters I write with this pen :).

Baystate Blue forever,

i wonder if you could put a regular fountain pen nib on it. Anyway, this pen is pretty nice for the price. I use for formal cards and projects. Aesthetically pleasing, good flow, cheap price... what more could you ask for?

I bought this pen for myself last year for my birthday. I am very happy with the purchase and the quick delivery of JetPens. I was hesitant at first on buying such an expensive pen, because I wasn't use to paying so much for a pen. However, I now see it as an investment. In the throw-away society we live in today and the amount of writing I do, I use to go through one disposable pen a week. What a waste! I'm glad I switched to fountain pens because I am making a better change for the environment and my wallet! I use this pen often when I am writing cards or letters, but for note taking and daily writing I would suggest a smaller nib. I am very satisfied with JetPen customer service and with my Lamy Joy pen. I would definitely recommend this site and calligraphy pen to friends.
