Lamy Logo Brush Finish Fountain Pen - Fine Nib

I was somewhat surprised at the look of this pen when I first
received it. The 'slots' on the top of the pen (where you
put the cap) are much more obvious than in the pictures.
It looks it bit cheap to me. It wrote well (exactly
like the Lamy Safari -- same nib), so I kept it.

Unfortunately, after using the pen for a month,
the silver paint on the plastic top of the pen
started flaking off, perhaps exacerbated by
taking the cap on and off. Now it looks really
beat up, so it sits in the drawer, unused.

Lamy really cut some corners on the top of the pen, it's
painted plastic, not chrome plated metal.

My first fountain pen. It is very good: writes well, and looks nice.

Nice pen, looks and feels great with the brushed finish. Writes nicely as well. I'll have to give 4 out of 5 for one reason only: the spring clip will come off with barely any effort, it hasn't come off on it's own yet but it does concern me. A conventional non binder style clip would be better in my opinion.
