Life is a jungle, and the special Lamy Safari pen can take you through it one stroke at a time. Lamy is a world-famous pen company headquartered in Germany. Their Safari line consists of high quality pens made of sturdy plastic and self-sprung chrome metal clips.
Conveniently refillable with ink cartridges. No need to push in cartridges yourself, just insert cartridge and twist the barrel, and the pen tightens to puncture the cartridge itself.
See how simple it is to refill the Lamy Safari fountain pen with a cartridge refill in the video below:
Great look, great design.
The Lamy Safari pen was voted as Best Pen under $100 in Stylus Magazine's 2007 review. See the pen on JetPens.com TV:
This is my first Lamy but not my first fountain pen. I own other more expensive
fountain pens and now I wonder why. This pen is absolutely amazing. I bought it
based on such positive reviews I'd read across the web and I am not
disappointed. The EF nib writes beautifully. It is very smooth. The pen itself
is a pleasure to hold. It truly feels balanced in my hand. Writing is a joy. All
in all this pen is so worth it and is now my favorite of all I own (and I own a
lot). Just buy one and see for yourself.
This is my second Safari & third FP. My first FP was more expensive and more
trouble, and turned me off fountain pens for years. But after getting a
Charcoal Safari in Fine, which I immediately loved, I decided to order the Extra
Fine in Shiny Black. It is very shiny, I like the color much more than I
expected. The nib has a little more of a scratch than the fine- not in a bad
way. It has always laid down an even, smooth flow of ink (I'm using Mont Blanc
black from the Lamy converter).
Definitely get the converter.
The blue ink that comes in the cartridge is ok but not my favorite.
The Extra fine is not quite as fine as I want but is working really well.
Fantastic value for this price.
I bought this as my second Safari. I previously owned the charcoal one, but I
lost it at a job interview. Truth be told, I like this one better. It wrote
smoothly from day one and lays down a great line on almost any paper. Highly
